The Boulevard is a flat post top cap with a 3/8 inch inset that slides over the deck post and protects the end grain.
As with all Acorn post caps, the Boulevard is made from a single piece of ipe, cedar, or pressure-treated pine. This eliminates any joints or glued pieces that can come apart. Additionally, the 3/8 inch inset base protects the post end grain for greater longevity. Choose from post cap sizes 3-5/8 inch or 5-5/8 inch. Acorn Wood Post Caps are ready to be treated with your choice of wood oil. Note: post caps must be treated, or cracking/splitting can occur. Wood oil should be used on all surfaces of the cap, inside and out.
